As fall begins and the leaves start to turn, it's a great time to hit the trails for biking, hiking, and walking. Hope to see you at the club! Here’s the latest news. 

Returning Member Registration is Open! 

Returning members can register for another fantastic year of fun at Blackhawk! Log into SkiClubPro to renew your membership and sign up for programs.  

New Member Registration is 9/24! 

New members can register beginning 9/24 at 7pm.  

Scholarship Information

Scholarship information will soon be live on the website under the Membership tab, including guidelines, timelines, and a request form. 

Open House Saturday, 9/21, 1pm 

Our annual Open House will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 1pm, for new and returning members. Our many programs will have tables and volunteers on hand to answer questions, and Board members will be available to answer questions about the club and provide walking tours. The club will provide drinks and snacks. Come join us! 

Reminder: Keep Your Parking Tags and Add New Stickers 

Remember to keep your parking tags and add a new sticker, which you’ll receive in the mail once you renew your membership. New members, we appreciate your patience as our volunteers get your car tags in the mail. In the meantime, you can print a copy of the receipt you received via email and place it on your dashboard. Thanks! 

Biathlon Updates 

Fall training begins on September 25th. Check out our photos from the USBA Midwest Regional race at Ariens! 

Fall Sunday Afternoon Combined Dryland Program Starts 9/29 

In partnership with all our youth winter sports, Blackhawk will be offering a combined dryland program this fall. Activities include strength training, agility work, increased flexibility and endurance. Combo will meet on Sunday afternoons beginning  Sept 29.  Need more info? Contact xckids@blackhawkskiclub.org. 

Gateway Trails event with CORP and CXC 10/5 

Join us Saturday, Oct 5 (rain date Oct 12) to celebrate the Driftless Gateway Trails, the trails at the CXC Outdoor Community Center, Middleton Bike Park, and Blackhawk Ski Club that connect to each other. The event takes place at the CXC Outdoor Community Center on Schwartz Road and will include trail runs and biking between Middleton Bike Park and Blackhawk. Fall Family Workday 

Stay tuned for a family-friendly fall workday! (date is TBD) We are looking for volunteers that have experience running the wood splitter. 

Hey, Nordic Skiers!   

We need you to help us build the future of cross-country skiing at Blackhawk.  We have run out of space in our small trailer and are looking to expand and improve ski and boot storage and ski hand-out process (and maybe even a warm space to watch lessons!). We need a few things to get started: 1) patience as we work through another season in the small trailer; 2) Fundraising coordinator; 3) Private lesson coordinator (okay, that is a separate ask, but I had your attention!).
