Youth Biathlon training seasons

Winter Race Season - Begins the first week in November through mid-March (beginner biathletes will start their season the first week in December). There are between six and eight club races (one day events) and two regionals' races (two-day events) in the Wisconsin Biathlon Series. Minnesota Biathlon holds a number of club and regional races. Blackhawk hosts two club races and one regional race.

Summer Season - Begins mid-June through the end of August. Biathlon roller ski races are held once a month at Ariens Nordic Center.

Fall Season - Mid September through the end of October. Roller ski biathlon races continue each month through November at Ariens. Running biathlon races occur at Blackhawk in October and November. 

Practices are one day a week in each of the seasons

Seasonal Fees

Winter - $225 for high school and upper middle school biathletes. $200 for beginners

Summer - $125
