Pines nordic loop is open!
Wow, what a snowstorm this weekend! With the fresh snow, the Pines loop is groomed for skate skiing and open! You can park at the East Chalet to access the trail.
Please use caution and stay clear of the area at the bottom of Blackhawk near the maintenance shed and base until we announce the trails are open. We are actively making snow throughout the property this week; this allows our snowmaking team to move around freely with equipment.
One more reminder, 4WD or AWD is required to get to the bottom and the artificial snow loop for nordic skiing once it's open for skiing.
